Seneca leaders see drawing for utilities warehouse

Seneca leaders were shown last night a drawing for a new Light and Water warehouse and facility. The warehouse facility is proposed at the rear of City Hall on a block of North Walnut—between 2 and 3rd streets. Utilities superintendent Bob Faires said, as planned, the facility won’t be as elaborate or expensive as the one attempted last year on the Kellett school property, but will be a vast improvement, he says, over the Light and Water’s “laydown yard” which now covers property behind City Hall and the police station. City leaders say they plan to share the drawing and plans in public meetings and will place project information on the city website.
