Seneca man wins South Carolina Lottery game

A Seneca man’s symptoms of winning at the Lottery last week included weak knees, perspiration, and an inability to concentrate. The South Carolina Education Lottery quoted the man as warning customers in the Countryside Exxon in Crossroads community, “I think I’m about to have a heart attack.” The winner, who was not identified by name, won a $200 thousand prize in a $10 dollar Bring on the Bens scratch-off game. He and his wife arrived Thursday at the Lottery’s Columbia Claims Center. For her, the win means a chance to retire early. For her husband, he won’t have to worry about their bills. The odds of winning $200 thousand in a Bring on the Bens scratch-off are considered to be 1 in 600,000. For selling the claimed ticket, Countryside Exxon received a $2 thousand commission.
