Seneca Middle schooler earns spot in national choir

hamilton_0002crop5An 8th grader at Seneca Middle School has reached un-precedented heights for his school and district.  Sterling Hamilton was recently named to the national middle school honor choir. Sterling is one of just 75 tenors nationwide and one of only 300 middle school students total to earn the honor through a rigorous audition. The 2017 National ACDA Middle School Honor Choir clinic and concert will take place March 8-11 in Minneapolis, MN. At Seneca Middle, Sterling is a member of the Honors Chorus directed by National Board Certified teacher Carla Brock and was selected to the South Carolina All-State Chorus in both 2015 and 2016.
