Seneca Middle’s top “inventors”

Seneca Middle School has judged its top student “inventors” and will send the three to the Duke Energy Invention Convention. Sixth grade science teachers Deb Burton and Teresa Stills named Rollins Baird and his Dryer Lint Fire Starter as first place winner; Holliday Thomas and her Magnetic Stuffed Animal Board number two; and Jenna Wilson and her shopping bag lifting assistant third project winner. Each year Seneca Middle School sixth graders are asked to come up with a concept for an invention and then develop and test a proto-type product based on their concepts.
