Seneca near ready to salute special month

January 10, 2014

Plans are coming together for Seneca’s annual observance of African-American History Month. The main event, the annual luncheon, will take place Thursday, February 7 and will feature three speakers, along with artwork from the island country of Barbados. Mollie Smith of the office of Seneca Events says details will be announced about the time and location for the luncheon. On January 31, an opening for the art work will take place at the city’s Lunney Museum.
