Seneca officials in Columbia for depositions

101.7/WGOG NEWS has learned that Seneca representatives have gone to Columbia today for deposition proceedings in the case of a lawsuit filed by the parents of the late Zachary Hammond.  City Attorney Michael Smith and City Administrator Greg Dietterick are among Seneca officials who have made the trip to the Capital city.  The deposition being taken is believed to be that of Mark Tiller, Seneca policeman.  Tiller was placed on administrative duty in the aftermath of last summer’s shooting death of Hammond in the parking lot of a By-Pass fast food restaurant.
