Seneca senior captures merit scholarship

Seneca High School congratulates senior Emily Barber today for being one of about 2,500 winners of the National Merit Scholarships—financed by colleges and universities. The award provides between $500 dollars and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship. In Emily’s case, the institution is the University of South Carolina, according to Danielle Ivey, media specialist at Seneca High.barber
