Seneca Stabbing Victim Hospitalized

A Seneca man is in the hospital after he was stabbed.  According to the sheriff’s department investigators, a deputy responded to a call at 905 Shiloh Road near Seneca around 4 pm Monday. The deputy found a black male with multiple stab wounds to the upper right part of this body. The victim told the deputy that he had been stabbed near a location on Goddard avenue. The victim provided the identity of the suspect. The victim, 31 year old Hykeem Shanon Kirkland of Nebo Church Road in Seneca was taken to the Greenville hospital.  Deputies arrested a 16 year old juvenile in connection with the incident. He has been charged with attempted murder and posession of a weapon during commission of a violent crime. The sheriff’s department’s is continuing to investigate.
