Seneca students join Beta Club

Seneca’s Blue Ridge Elementary recently held its Beta Club Induction Ceremony, inviting 25 students into the organization.  Students pictured, from left to right: Chase Smith, Nathaniel Underwood, Daniel Salyer, Caleb Salyer, Cameron Rickman, Mallie Merck, Emma Jane Padgett, Jacob Sweenor, Taylor Monds, Anna Stodieck, Kodie Long, Abigail Romero, Zoe Liedlich, Alex Jordan, Logan Neal, Haley Fitzgerald, Nicolas Chaney, Savannah Burress, Anna Chaney, Alyssa Breazeale, and Rayne Boyd. Other students inducted but not pictured, are: Bentley Moss, Aurora Negro, and Sean Reynolds. The Beta Club is a student honor society based on high academic achievement, excellent character, and good citizenship. As an organization, the Beta Club promotes “the ideals of honesty, service, morality, ethical conduct, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement, and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.” (Article II of the Beta Club Constitution)
