Seneca to cut ribbons December 1

Seneca will make a day of it for cutting ribbons on Tuesday, December 1.  The city’s events coordinator, Riley Johnson, says the day will mark Seneca preparing for the future.  Beginning at 11:30 that morning, a ribbon will be cut for the electric bus charging station on Railroad Street in front of the Norton-Thompson Park.  Then city officials will ride a bus to the new utilities warehouse and the new substation behind City Hall for two more ribbon cuttings.  From there, they’ll ride the bus to the water treatment plant for a celebration of the project there that included the removal of a round concrete tank which, for aesthetic reasons, drew complaints from residents at Normandy Shores.
