Senecan charged with child sex crimes

After searching a home in Seneca’s White Oak Cliffs subdivision, the police arrested a 54-year old man on charges of criminal sexual conduct first degree with a minor.  Law enforcements records identify the man arrested as Scott Norman Christner of Hillandale Road.  The arrest took place yesterday.  The Seneca police say they were contacted by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office that a student reported being sexually assaulted and an investigation disclosed the assaults allegedly occurred during a period between 2013 and 2015 at Christner’s Hillandale Road home.  The police say electronic forensic analysis will be made on computer equipment and other items seized at the home.
