Senecan suspect in crimes in two counties

Law enforcement authorities have identified a Seneca man as one of their suspects in a spree of crimes that took place this week in Oconee and Anderson counties.  After turning himself over Thursday to the Seneca police, Martavious Shamon Craig was being held today by Anderson County, as one of three people charged with attempted murder and killing a police dog.  Seneca Chief John Covington says his department holds a warrant for Craig alleging armed robbery.  The Seneca police are investigating a home invasion around 8 o’clock Monday night at 373 Maple Grove Road in which two men with guns and ski masks rushed into an apartment with the intent to rob the occupant.
