Senecans arrested in manhunt

Two Seneca residents have been arrested in a manhunt in Georgia, led by the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. Hart County Sheriff Mike Cleveland said Brandon Wayne Arnold, 29 years old, was wanted by the ATF for alleged illegal sale and trafficking of firearms. According to Cleveland, both Arnold and 25-year old Heather Elaine Frankum were trying to get into a house owned by Frankum’s family in Hart County. Lake Hartwell Radio WLHR reports law enforcement agencies began a search yesterday afternoon that lasted well into the night. The sheriff said the two ditched a van and ran. Witnesses spotted the two running in cow pastures. From above, a helicopter employed a heat-seeking device. So far, the ATF has not released the exact charges against Arnold. Hart County authorities charged Frankum with obstruction of law enforcement.
