Seneca’s 2014 plans for African-American History Month

Arrangements are being made for Seneca to welcome visitors from the island country of Barbados in the Lesser Antilles—as part of the city’s 2014 observance of African-American History Month. City Administrator Greg Dietterick and Lunney Museum curator John Martin announced last night that next year’s events will center at the Lunney and focus on the city’s plans to establish the Strickland Museum. The plans call for a gallery of artwork to be showedcased in the Lunney Museum and a luncheon at which plans for Seneca’s second museum will be announced.
