Sewer Authority to hold executive session
Officials of the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority have confirmed to 101.7/WGOG NEWS that an executive session is scheduled Wednesday night. And we are told that, in this meeting, the commission will consider county government’s offer to settle the long-running dispute over a revenue sharing agreement which binds the county to pay the JRSA $610 thousand a year. For comment on the meeting, Commission Chairman Scott Parris referred 101.7/WGOG NEWS to Larry Brandt, the JRSA attorney. Brandt confirmed the meeting involves a legal matter, but would make no additional public comments.
