Sewer work Monday near Seneca

Residents on Reedy Fork Road near Seneca are being notified to expect sewer work to begin Monday and a partial obstruction on the road while the work is underway.  According to the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority, Tugaloo Pipeline Company will commence replacement of a sewer force main—100 feet of pipe in all.  Workers will also inspect the pipe left in the ground to determine if it will require replacement in the future.  The Joint Regional Sewer Authority realizes there will be inconvenience, but requests understanding on the part of the public.  The new pipe is needed to protect the public and the environment from sewer leaks.
