Sheriff predicts: At least 1 unsolved homicide WILL BE SOLVED

Oconee Sheriff Mike Crenshaw believes he made the correct move one year ago to employ a part time employee to investigate unsolved cases of homicide.  And that’s even though, to date, not one has been solved.  Crenshaw today expressed confidence in Dean Brown’s work to date.  The sheriff said this about the former state policeman:  “A great deal of work has been done on these cases.  He has gone through each case file and now has a working knowledge on each one.  I believe if we continue working these cases, we will see one or more eventually solved.”  Brown also continues to work on the investigation to solve the mysterious death a year ago of Clemson student Tucker Hipps.
