Shooting UPDATE

A spokesman for Oconee Sheriff’s Department has confirmed this afternoon the apprehension of a 31-year old man wanted as part of an investigation of an incident last evening near Westminster. Jimmy Watt, OSD spokesman, says officers placed Bradley Scott Cantrell into custody today in the vicinity of where he was wounded around 6 p-m on Greenfield Road. Cantrell was taken to jail, Watt said. No immediate word on his condition.
