Shooting Victim Identified

A Seneca man is dead after being shot in the neck.  Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis says 21 year old James Evan Tyner of Bolick Street, Seneca was found dead along the shoulder of Blackjack Road at the intersection of Mount Pleasant Road. Witnesses reported seeing the subject running away from the incident location at 108 Mount Pleasant Road, Westminster. A shotgun was found lying in the yard at the residence. An autopsy will be performed Wednesday to assist with the death investigation.  The death is being ruled a homicide. Oconee County Sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
