“Show-and-tell” tonight for Michael Thorsland

Oconee school trustees put in double-duty tonight at Seneca. They plan to attend this evening’s graduation ceremony at Seneca High School for the 2014 county Adult Education Class. Once that ceremony is finished, the trustees are to convene in the high school library to meet privately with Dr. Michael Thorsland, interim superintendent of education. According to trustees’ chairman Andy Inabinet, it’s an opportunity for the board to hear Thorsland’s ideas and plans for the future of public education in the county—as the board goes about deciding who gets the job of county superintendent.
