Siren test this morning

The 65 sirens within ten miles of the Oconee Nuclear Plant are to be tested this morning. The new wrinkle to this test is that new software has been installed.  But like usual the sirens are to sound for about three minutes beginning at 11:50.  Hearing a siren does not mean to evacuate.  In an emergency, sirens are sounded as a signal to tune to a radio or TV station for an emergency alerting message.
