Six rising seniors to represent Walhalla at Boys State

Six rising seniors at Walhalla High School are representing Walhalla this summer during the 2015 Palmetto Boys State. According to the Legion Post 124, bound for the campus of Anderson University June 7-13 are Shane Carney, Ryan Kowalski, Logan Bodiford, Brett Leard, Conner Phillis, and T.J. Galloway. Legionnaires Mike Hamor and Ron Blair say these young men will represent the community of Walhalla and its high school in an outstanding manner. Harold Welborn, Commander of the Walhalla veterans organization said his post is proud to have been able to sponsor so many outstanding young men from the local high school over the years to the summer program that helps enhance their growth as productive citizens to society. The students will be visiting with the local American Legion Post as they return later in the summer to relate some of their 2015 Palmetto Boys State experiences.
