Small truck hits store building

April 11, 2013

The police chief says Westminster’s Bountyland Quik Stop is doing business today, in spite of last night’s accident just prior to closing. Chief Dean Awalt says a small truck that pulled up to the store on Walhalla Road at 10:30 lost its brakes, hit and broke a glass window. No one was injured. The broken window has been boarded up. But Awalt quoted the store manager as saying it’s business as usual today.
