So far, one arrest in Dr. John’s Road burglary

The Oconee Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 45-year old Westminster area man in the investigation of a burglary late last month on the Dr. John’s Road. Steven Lamar Craig was jailed and charged with burglary second degree and grand larceny. A second person sought in the case has been identified as Craig’s son, 21-year old William Kyle Craig, and the Sheriff’s Office offers a Crime Stoppers award for information that leads to the son’s arrest. Taken in the May 27 burglary were a chop saw, a dirt bike, an air blower, a backpack blower, a generator, and an air wrench. Some of the stolen goods have been recovered.
