Solicitor hopeful withdraws

There is one fewer announced hopeful for the office of 10th Circuit Solicitor covering Oconee and Anderson counties.  Al Means now says he no longer intends to run for the office.  In a statement, Means said, “The race changed when Solicitor Adams decided not to run and David Wagner decided he would. I cannot tie him directly to the problems that concern me. Nobody in the race can match Mr. Wagner’s decades of experience prosecuting for four different solicitors in three different Upstate counties, including Anderson and Oconee. Therefore, I believe the votes and resources of my original supporters and the folks I have met over the last few weeks should not be used on me at this time.”
