Start of construction not quite yet

Land clearing and actual construction inside Oconee’s Information and Technology Park will not take place quite yet.  This was supposed to be the day that the contractor for two new manufacturing plants would start.  But Richard Blackwell of the Oconee Economic Alliance says there’s the matter of a land disturbance permit, a requirement of the state.  “Once in hand, should be good to go,” says Blackwell.  The contractor, Hogan Construction, has the job to build the Baxter Enterprises plant, along with the companion High Tech Molding.
