“Steady” voting across Oconee County

Nearly four hours into voting today, the turnout across Oconee County has been described as steady. The head of Oconee elections, Joy Scharich, said no major problems. Just the usual ones, such as voters waiting until Election Day to get their addresses straight. Still some confusion over where Westminster precinct voters cast their ballots. A couple of years ago the polling place there was moved from the American Legion building to the fire department, yet some voters forget and show up at the wrong place.
