Stolen water pump valued at $1 thousand

A thief, apparently during the night last week, stole a water pump in Long Creek.  Oconee Sheriff’s Office is investigating and, thru Crime Stoppers, will pay a cash reward to whoever can provide the tip that solves this crime.  The theft occurred August 12 on Battlecreek Road.  The stolen water pump is a 12-year old Jacuzzi, ½ horsepower, 4.5 gallon per minute pump that is about three feet long, and three inches in diameter.  It’s stainless steel and worth around $1 thousand.  If you have information, call Crime Stoppers.  You don’t have to give your name.
