“Strange noise” was the theft of camper trailer

A 31-year old Oconee County man has been arrested by the Seneca police and charged with stealing a 26-foot camper trailer at 2:45 in the morning. According to law enforcement records, Terence Leroy Johnson of Durham Brown Road was charged with grand larceny early yesterday at 80 N. Cherry Street. The police investigated an incident in which a strange noise could be heard and in which a small white car was spotted pulling the trailer away from the property—without the permission of the owner. At the time, the camper had been parked on the lot for sale for $4,800 dollars.
