Stray dogs and cats picked off the streets

In one, three-hour period yesterday, a combined effort by the Walhalla police and Oconee Animal Control picked up one cat and 15 dogs from the streets of the County Seat. A city official tells 96.3/WGOG NEWS that all of the animals were strays. The owners of another 15 pet dogs were ticketed for displaying no rabies tags.
