Students vote today in mock election

Students at Clemson Elementary School are voting today in a mock election, using the Prime III voting system developed by professor Juan Gilbert, chairman of Clemson University’s Human-Centered Computing Division. Gilbert offers his Prime III system as a new, easy-to-use accessible and secure electronic voting machine that allows individuals to vote by touch or voice. Today the students vote for their favorite school subjects, education activities, the local sheriff and congressional representatives and the President.
