Support and patience for Streetscape

In recent days, Streetscape with its workers and equipment arrived on the block on which the Oconee-Pickens state senator makes his livelihood.  Senator Thomas Alexander is the proprietor of Oconee Office Supply on Walhalla’s Main Street.  He’s also a former Walhalla city councilman.  Alexander says he supports the current-day city council and its project to re-make the core commercial district downtown.  Not only, Alexander said, he supports, but he’ll be patient while the work is done.
