Suspected burglar found at car dealer’s door

Oconee deputies stopped a white Mustang near an open gate at Edwards Auto Sales late Wednesday night and found five to six sets of car keys. They say they then found a man at the door to the showroom. That man was cuffed and arrested. According to the sheriff’s office, Bradley Billy Wayne Smith, 33 years old, of Stephanie Lane, Seneca was jailed on charges of attempted grand larceny. Smith allegedly tried to take a new Ford Mustang.
