Swearing-in the new council members

Seneca has chosen 6 o’clock Tuesday night to swear-in the winners in this week’s city council elections. It’ll be a City Hall ceremony, to which the public is invited. But who exactly will be taking the oath that night is likely to depend on the outcome of an Oconee Election Commission meeting this morning at Walhalla. At 11, the commissioners will be examining five challenged ballots. The outcome could change the order of finish involving apparent fourth place finisher and winner Denise Rozman and Ernest Riley who placed fifth, two votes behind.
