Syracuse coach Boeheim gets 900th win

Syracuse University men’s basketball coach Jim Boeheim got his historic 900th carer win Monday night, as Syracuse beat Detroit 72-68 in the Gotham Classic. Boeheim is just the third Division I men’s coach ever to reach 900 wins, along with Mike Krzyzewski, who has 936, and Bob Knight, with 902. The 68-year-old Boeheim is in his 37th year at his alma mater, with a 900-304 overall record.
