Tamassee woman arrested on grand larceny charge

Lelani Lairson A 37-year old Tamassee woman has been arrested by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office—accused of stealing patio furniture outside a business near Salem. According to sheriff’s officers, the stolen furniture was traced by Salem Police Chief Dave Poulson to a home on Bear Boulevard. Sheriff’s officers arrested Lelani Lairson and charged her with grand larceny. The scene of the May 10 crime was Keowee Town Market on n. highway 11. Officers quoted Michael McCloskey, Keowee Town Market owner, as saying someone stole the furniture during the night. The stolen patio furniture carried a value of $7 thousand, 700 dollars.
