Tennesseean killed and Salem residents hurt

More is known this hour about yesterday’s fatal car accident in Rabun County, Georgia. Sky 104 Radio in Clayton now reports a resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, the driver of a 2012 Chevy Impala, died. The decedent’s name is being withheld until family members are notified. The driver and the passenger of the other vehicle, a Dodge Ram, have been identified as Salem residents. And they were sent by helicopter to the Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. The accident occurred just after 1:30 yesterday afternoon on Highway 76, near Rabun County’s New Hope Church Road.
