Textile maker expanding one county over

A major textile manufacturer is expanding productions plants in Rabun County, Georgia. Georgia Governor Nathan Deal this week announced Parkdale Mills, the country’s largest maker of spun yard, will expand its Rabun Gap production plants—to create 210 new jobs and invest $85 million. The location is 815 John Beck Dockins Road in Rabun Gap. Clayton’s WRBN reports hiring has begun.
