The 15th “Operation Infinity” drug sweep

Twenty-seven people are being sought in Oconee County on a variety of drug charges involving methamphetamine, prescription drugs, cocaine and marijuana.  Others sought will face charges of unlawful neglect of a child and conspiracy to manufacture meth for attempts to purchase pseudo-ephedrine above the legal limits allowed.  This is the 15th “Operation Infinity” drug round-up by the Sheriff’s Office, with help from the police in Seneca, Walhalla, Westminster and West Union. “Our message is simple. Illegal drug activity in Oconee County will not be tolerated,” said Sheriff Crenshaw.  “We will continue to make that message loud and clear in the future. If you are addicted to drugs, there is help available to you free of charge. Seek help immediately. If you are in the business of selling illegal drugs, the next business transaction could be the one that gets you arrested. We are already working on the next series of arrests.”
