The check will be in the mail!

Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative is close to letting loose of about $1 million dollars and returning it proportionately to eligible customers. Capital credit refund checks will go into the mail starting Monday, according to Blue Ridge’s Terry Ballenger, and they will be sent to those who were customers during the year 1986. Most of the checks will go to Blue Ridge 1986 customers in Oconee and Pickens, Blue Ridge’s major service counties. And Ballenger estimates the capital credit refunds will average $30-$40 dollars per member.
