The Legion names Office of the Year

An Oconee sheriff’s officer has been named the 2015 American Legion Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. The award, for Corp. Charles Mulwee, was presented last night during the annual Jake Robinson Law Enforcement Dinner in Seneca. Mulwee serves as resource officer for Oconee’s elementary schools. He acts as a mentor and focuses on drug prevention. The dinner is an annual salute to law enforcement agencies. Officers from the Sheriff’s Office, the Seneca police, the highway patrol, and the Westminster police attended.
