The near non-stop rain and its challenges

This is no day for a walk in the park.  For that matter, it’s advisable to keep the kayaks out of the raging rivers.  But the business of sewage flow and treating sewage goes on—though, for Oconee County, there are challenges.  And those challenges, as explained by Bob Winchester, director of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority, were two sanitary sewer overflows—one on Christmas Eve and the other early yesterday between the hours of 1 and 5 a-m.
