The police request your help

The police in Seneca appeal to the public for information that can help identify an attempted bank robber and the car he was seen in.  Around noon on Friday, January 22 a man threatened to set off an explosive device at the State Credit Union on N. Radio Station Road unless he got a bag containing money.  The police temporarily evacuated the Credit Union, but never found any kind of bomb or explosive device.  The man wanted the money placed behind a next door business beside a dumpster and a red bicycle. The police believe the individual tried to pull off the heist with the use of a phone bought between 3:15 and 4 o’clock during the previous afternoon at Seneca’s Wal-Mart.  The police have released surveillance images of a person in gray suit and hat and a vehicle that appears to be an early 2000 model BMW 3 Series.
