The police sweep for drugs

The Walhalla police are trying to sweep their city clear of illegal drugs. Chief Ronald Wilbanks said in today’s sweep, seven of the 22 suspects targeted had been picked up and sent to jail. He said those targeted are accused of distributing meth and prescription medication. areThe sweep is continuing. And Wilbanks said his department this afternoon is to get assistance from the Seneca police and the Sheriff’s Department’s drug squad.
