The hospitals’ collaboration one year later

Top hospital officials one year later appear to be satisfied with their arrangement.  When the calendar turns a page tomorrow to October 1, it will have been one year since what was a private not for profit Oconee Memorial Hospital joined the public non-profit regional hospital care provider Greenville Health System.  A 101.7/WGOG NEWS joint interview yesterday with GHS CEO Mike Riordan and Oconee Medical Campus President Hunter Kome produced positive expressions.  According to Kome, Oconee Memorial under the green banner of GHS has meant more patients and more revenue.  And Riordan said GHS learned things from Oconee that have made the regional hospital care provider a better institution.
