Thinking about Ebola at Oconee Memorial

The Oconee Memorial Hospital is heeding the call of the director of Centers for Disease Control. At Oconee Memorial, they are planning for a what-if. What if the hospital at Seneca were presented with a deadly case of the Ebola virus? Hunter Kome, the newly-named president of the Oconee Medical Campus, says, “We are taking steps to prepare. It’s a complex and rapidly developing issue that requires a comprehensive response.” Kome says he expected to release more information about OMH and the potential there for a case of Ebola.
