Three Clemson graduation ceremonines tomorrow

Nearly 3,300 students will graduate from Clemson University at three spring commencement ceremonies tomorrow at the Bons Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville. The first will begin at 9:30 a.m., the second at 2:30 p.m. and the third at 6:30 p.m. GE Chairman and CEO Jeffery Immelt will receive an honorary Doctor of Humanities degree at the 9:30 a.m. ceremony.  One of the graduates represents a long family history of alumni. Lydia Rachel Wardlaw is a third-generation Clemson graduate. Her father, Frank Jr., and mother, Rebecca Lynn, graduated in the 1980s. Her great-grandfather, William Wardlaw, received his diploma 120 years ago in Clemson’s first graduating class.
