Three shoplifting arrests

Oconee sheriff’s officers arrested three people during the Christmas holidays on charges of shoplifting.  Each of the accused displayed out of county addresses.  Alejandro Rodrigues Shropshire, 42-year old Toccoa, Georgia resident was jailed Christmas Eve after being issued a ticket alleging that he shoplifted items worth $950 dollars from Belk’s in Seneca.  Two other men were arrested on charges of shoplifting at the Seneca Wal-Mart.  Shawn Michael Fodor, 24-year old resident of Clayton, Georgia was arrested Wednesday, December 23.  Fodor is accused of taking items valued around $700 dollars.  Roger Vernon Vaughn Jr., 39-year old Anderson resident, was jailed in Oconee Christmas Eve after being picked up at the Greenville County Detention Center.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, Vaughn is charged in warrants alleging shoplifting crimes this past spring and summer at Wal-Mart, in which items worth more than $3,500 were taken.
