November 8, 2012

The office of Oconee Elections announced this afternoon three men won office on write-in efforts during this week’s countywide elections. L-J Jones won a seat on the Soil and Water Conservation Board, while Steve and William Hunt won seats on the Beaverdam Creek Watershed Board. Apparently lots of people received write-in votes for all sorts of offices Tuesday. 96.3/WGOG NEWS was told that James Bartee, a former candidate for Sheriff, received write-in votes for offices up and down the ballot.
