Tickets issued the result of weekend traffic stop in Seneca

Four young Spartanburg area residents were ticketed and sent to jail after their car was stopped by Seneca police during the midnight hour Sunday on By-Pass 123 at the Old Salem Road.  According to police report, tickets were issued charging possession of alcohol and simple possession of marijuana.  The police say they seized several grams of a green leafy substance, suspected to be marijuana, and well as pills and bottles of beer and liquor. Those ticketed were 18, 19, and 20 years old.
